Good wallpapering begins with the wall itself. Previous coverings, flaky paint, uneven surfaces and moisture problems can undermine even a carefully selected paper. Measuring, trimming and matching a repeating pattern also influence the amount of material required.
The best approach depends on the wallcovering and the room. Paste-the-wall and paste-the-paper products have different instructions, and some wallpapers have specific requirements around handling and adhesives.
